Such a delightful surprise! A truly good TV drama. Long has it been since last I came across a riveting show that made me want to binge-watch the entire series. Quirky dark humor of the British kind, served best by Gary Oldman himself, making scenes awkward yet cool. None of the inflated Hollywood action stuff, the British know how to do grip your attention through less misdirection of fast camera work, explosions and fast pace, they hook you by the use of brilliant acting, storyline with plot twists and most valuable dialogue. Often smaller setting makes for more intimate connection, you are there watching not peeking from far away. I’m happy to have stumbled upon this series, its quality entertainment, recommended.
The show has four short seasons, so no “filler” episodes to drag out the story unnecessary, renewed for two more seasons.
