#websiteunderconstruction

Earlier this afternoon, I posted a #photograph of a #web. It was a bit damp and wet then but the #Sun is out now and the #spider (or #WebDeveloper?) is waiting at the centre. Here are two angles I took #pictures from. The markings on the spider's body are wonderful.

Oblique and approximately the same as the one with the web alone.

Approximately normal to the plane of the web.

#Autofocus is not necessarily your friend. To get this #Spider's #Web to appear in a #photograph, you can't rely on the camera's ability to #focus as the subject is much too fine; it always picks up the background. By switching to good old fashioned #ManualFocus, you can choose which element to home in on. I've seen the spider which owns this #website over a few days but it was probably sheltering from the light rain that is falling. If a bird had taken it, I suspect that it would have wrecked the web. I'll see if I can get a #picture of it later.
