Current #project. Second brood of Zebra Danios.

They turned out well the first time, so I caught the ones I bought again and put them in a breeding container with lava rock and greenery. This time I found the eggs! My daughter wanted some for one of her #aquariums after seeing the first batch of fry I released into my 50G. They move quite differently than the guppies!

Here you can see a Danio rerio egg and its yolk.

I wish for a microscope with higher resolution. LOL!

I’ve never bought brine shrimp eggs. The writing looks like my grandpa's. He passed over twenty years ago. I found the bottle in a box on the patio, so... Not great storage conditions as the summers here get hot.
Still, I need food for the fry and they love baby brine shrimp so I'm doing this to see if these eggs are still viable. I should see some hatches by Monday if there's still life!
