My father passed away December 3. I usually do a big Christmas dinner and have the whole house decorated but this year has been a struggle. It took me a lot longer to put the tree up, then to decorate it and everything else. I'm pushing myself to continue the rest of this year as normal as possible especially for dear others that look forward to the Christmas dinner plus it offers a distraction. Then afterwards I will take time for myself and grieve properly.
