Ukraine has around 50 ATACMS missiles — The Times

This morning, #Ukraine used 6 #missiles to attack deep within #Russia. 5 missiles got destroyed. One damaged and fell down.44 missiles left, not much damage in Russia, but what consequences will it have for those responsible for that attack?

Does it mean that now the helper of Ukraine are equally responsible for that attack?
Are countries like #Germany, #Sweden, #Finland, #Estonia, #Romania, and others are now vulnerable to retaliatory measures?

Free lunches, brain breaks and happy teachers: why Estonia has the best schools in Europe

How did #Estonia, a small country that is relatively poor compared with most of the EU, become an educational powerhouse?

In the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s Programme for International Student Assessment (Pisa) rankings, which measures 15-year-olds’ abilities in maths, reading and science, the top spots are held by a handful of Asian countries, but Estonia ranks next – the best in Europe.

Its teachers are highly educated, the focus is on social and personal skills as much as academic learning and the typical curriculum is packed with a wide range of subjects, from robotics to music and arts.

Estonian Prime Minister Kallas has refused to guarantee that the country's military will not be sent to Ukraine

During her speech, parliamentarians demanded that the prime minister guarantee that the Estonian Defence Forces would not involve in military operations in Ukraine.

I don't make such promises because circumstances can change.... We have clearly chosen a side here, and that side is Ukraine, because Russia is a direct threat to us.

Baltic countries to build defenses on Russian, Belarusian borders

Russia's invasion of Ukraine has sparked concerns that the Baltic states, which are among Moscow's biggest critics and Kyiv's staunchest allies since day one of the all-out war, could become the next target for aggression,

These fears are reinforced by Russian leader Vladimir Putin's repeated threats to NATO countries.

Democracy in #Europe: 🇷🇺A Russian citizen has been fined 400 euros by Estonian border guards for displaying a St George ribbon on his car. This was reported by the portal of the Estonian state radio ERR.

According to ERR, the incident took place on 11 November at the Narva-1 border checkpoint. While checking the Russian car, Estonian border guards found a St George's ribbon. They stated that it was banned in Estonia and fined the driver 400 euros, ERR reported. The driver voluntarily handed over the dahlia ribbon and was allowed to enter Estonia, according to the Estonian state radio portal.

This year, the Estonian authorities banned all public Victory Day events using Russian and #Soviet #symbols in the counties of Harjumaa, Lääne-Virumaa and Ida-Virumaa, where most of the country's Russian population lives. Tallinn described the Russian and Soviet flags as "hostile symbols" and justified the decision by saying that they could "provoke enmity".

The St George's Ribbon is one of Russia's national symbols, as well as a symbol of victory over #Nazism in the Great Patriotic War.

#Estonia #Bans Russian #Grandmother After 40 Years Living In #Tallinn

Estonian authorities refused to let a woman back into the country, despite having lived there for 40 years, after she left for a few days to visit her friend in hospital in St. Petersburg.

Zoya Palyamar has lived in Estonia since 1983, but she was never granted citizenship. She had only the so-called gray passport of a non-citizen. On Thursday she took a regular bus to St. Petersburg, but after crossing the border she reportedly received an SMS notification that she had been deprived of her residence permit in Estonia.

In Tallinn, she left all her property, as well as her daughter and two grandchildren - all citizens of Estonia.

#Finland plans to fence 200 kilometres of its 1,300-kilometre border with Russia at a cost of around 380 million euros (around $400 million).

The fence will be over three metres (10 feet) tall with barbed wire at the top, with particularly sensitive areas equipped with night vision cameras, lights and loudspeakers.

At present, Finland's borders are secured primarily by light wooden fences, mainly designed to stop livestock from wandering to the wrong side.

Fearing that Moscow could use migrants to exert political pressure on Helsinki, NATO candidate Finland in July passed new amendments to its Border Guard Act to facilitate the erection of sturdier fences.

Although the Finland-Russia border has "worked well" in the past, Brigadier General Jari Tolppanen told AFP in November that the war in Ukraine had changed the security situation "fundamentally".

He said the border fence was "indispensable" to stop large-scale illegal entries from Russian territory.

Finland saw an influx of Russians in September after President Vladimir Putin ordered the mobilisation of reservists to fight in Ukraine.

#Estonia, #Latvia and #Poland have also increased security on their #borders with #Russia or are planning to do so.

“Every citizen is responsible for the actions of their state, and citizens of Russia are no exception. Therefore, we do not give asylum to Russian men who flee their country. They should oppose the war.” Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas

This is the most disgusting and horrifying view point one can have.

Imagine we held every citizen of Israel for the crimes of the apartheid regime in occupied territories.

Or held every American accountable for their 2 decades of global war on terror that left millions of people dead.

Why not hold France accountable for their crimes in Algeria?

Why not hold UK citizens accountable for their torture and murder of Afghans and Iraqis?

This is the mindset of AlQaeda, this is the language of fascism

This is not the values of a modern society.
