Why You Do What You Do
Observed behavior, your own as well as that of others is only part of the picture. If you really want to understand why you do what you do you need to ask yourself what motivates you and what it is you value the most.

Much of the behavior that marks us as being #intentional in our mindset and attitude is essentially behavior that allows us to mitigate the damage we experience we we go through life and heal. This argues that, perhaps, we already know how to best behave in the situations we meet if only we can get past the trauma we have experienced.
Metadata reveals a lot about a book's performance with different audiences. "Intentional" is selling well both in the U.S. and the U.K. and if the emails I receive are anything to go by, it is resonating deeply with those reading it. At the same time I see sales in Germany and France, two markets that for me are usually marginal. The performance of an English language title in those markets reveals just how the pandemic has created an audience hungry to know what to do to best navigate the present and face the uncertain future heading towards us. Truly, we are now one. All of us facing similar challenges and dealing with similar problems despite a language barrier and cultural differences.
