Really need to do this on my bike! Rear brake loses pressure on rough downhills, almost caused a wreck last week. Scary feeling grabbing brake and nothing happens.

Heartbreaking that Red Bull will no longer be the event sponsor for UCI world cup mountain biking. Discovery will take over in 2023, and a lot of riders are not happy about it. Fears that Discovery will make a subscription service to watch the UCI races and create "safe spaces" for riders or even have downhill races on smooth tracks made for wheelchairs.
And they already confirmed that the main race commentor will not be going with Discovery, such a bummer because a good commentor makes the race more exciting and enjoyable.

Wow, these trails are simply awesome! Fast and flowy with some rocky sections but nothing too rough.
Only one other person and one deer in about an hour. Nice change from crowded city trails.

Scenes from a #hike with @Kathryn Barr today in #Gatineau #Park, near #Ottawa. When we started out the escarpment was up in the #fog, but it later cleared and reached 20°C. Lots of #mountainbiking up there today. The signs warned of #bears, but we didn't see any, as usual.
