And a bit of new music for Saturday Night...

From a not-yet-released album (out in April), here is Josienne Clark, whose album she describes as
"Onliness (songs of solitude & singularity)". This here is a 2-minute 'teaser'/director's cut. Comments below from description.

My first reaction after a few bars was that she's doing some nice things with both lyrics and phrasing, reminiscent of Joni Mitchell.

Josienne Clarke - Words Were Never The Answer (Official Video)

"This video features Josienne's patented concept 'subtext-titles', where we see not the lyrics to this beautiful little song (which are below for your interest) but an insight into what she was/is thinking when she wrote/sings it - confusing? Maybe! Refreshing? Probably not! Content that cost hundreds of pounds to make that we'll never make a penny on? Definitely! So, I think you'll agree, she's right!" Alec Bowman_Clarke (director)

Many will soon be traveling (U.S. Thanksgiving Day into Christmas time).... for many it is the first time in 1-2 years to see family. Or to escape. Or reunite. Or grieve. 2021 - in lockdown and crazy times - has been a challenge - and stressful on everyone. Time to

Ramble On

For me too (something I am thankful for) it's time to "hit the road, Jack!". And for many others, travel to anywhere now is a beautiful thing. I'll be on & off-grid (no wifi/Internet in places) so posts a bit less but photos and music finds will trickle back soon.

Wishing an early
Happy Thanksgiving and Christmas/Chanukah!. (and of course other seasonal holidays as may be yours)
