"The Apexel 200X LED Lens: A microscope for your phone."

I didn't know such a thing existed. I have a book, "Illustrated Guide to Home Biology Experiments", and, while a microscope like this wouldn't work as a high-quality lab microscope, it might work as a field (portable) microscope -- the kind of microscope you carry in your pocket, ready to whip out when you see a possible interesting specimen in nature. Typically these have lower magnification, like 30X, so a pocket microscope that can do 200X would be amazing, and one that can take photos, too?

Apparently, what this is is a lens with a built-in LED light, but not a camera -- it uses the camera on your phone. That means the quality of the photos you can make depends on how good your phone camera is. Which means mine isn't the best. If your phone can do telephoto images, you can use that with this microscope lens.

Anyway, it apparently works with flat surfaces, but is a challenge with 3D objects, because it has an extremely shallow depth of field, and your own movement affects the image in any case and is hard to control.
