Released as a #download 6+ years ago, the 15-copy CD version of Void Meme’s “Recuperated Fragments” will be available 12th July.
The original recordings were made in the UK in aid of Skelton-in-Cleveland Church Restoration Fund, and featuring the Dean and his wife singing traditional Methodist hymns. The CD versions differ from the original download tracks. As usual with The label’s “Modern Anthropology Series” releases, the original material is almost completely unfathomable. Unofficially, this release is part 2 of a 3-part series, with plans in the pipeline for a return to England for a 3rd series of recordings this time with Harry Thompson, funeral director from North Yorkshire, who featured on the Midwitch Cuckoos’ Split CD back in 2001.
