Britain will send Paveway IV bombs to Ukraine, BBC reports.
Paveway IV is a dual GPS/laser guided bomb weighing 227 kg (500 lb).
It is a guidance kit based on the existing Enhanced Paveway II Enhanced Computer Control Group (ECCG) added to a modified Mk 82 general purpose bomb.
The Paveway IV has a maximum range of over 30 km, depending on the drop altitude, speed and trajectory.

(And as i ask that pointed question, I realise I dont know who's the leader of the welsh assembly, so look it up, and, Humphrey Vaughan ap David Gething, new fella, just last month. So was he actually more genuinely elected, and not selected by the inner party? "Gething won the Welsh Labour leadership election to replace Mark Drakeford and become First Minister of Wales, making him the first black leader of any European country." ... because it does look a bit funny, like triple try-hard tokenisation. The USA has been for decades a mixed Capitalist/Socialist economic system. What's most sad about both the UK and #US is that the kind of #Socialism being deployed is actually #corporate Socialism, wherein #taxes are forcibly redistributed to #corporations and the most wealthy. The worst aspects of both systems.

Among the many false claims made by various #government media, #corporate media and social #media commentators, such as the UK being a "Liberal Democracy," we are also told how terrible the #capitalist #system in the #UK is and how we need more #Socialism to save us.
While I do agree that crony capitalism and #monopoly capitalism are indeed terrible, we don't actually live in a capitalist economic system, we live in a mixed Capitalist/Socialist #economy, where for the last two sociological generations or more, government spending has comprised more than 40% of all economic activity in the UK.

The #UK #ElectricyDemand is currently 32 GW and of that, 25.2% is coming from #SolarEnergy, 17.1% is coming from #WindEnergy, 16.8% is coming from #NuclearEnergy and 9.9% is coming from #Biomass and only 7% is coming from #Gas. There is also a fair amount coming from continental Europe through the various interconnections.
