So - when was your first #Diaspora post? or #Friendica if you are reading this there? I think my first Diaspora pod was Poddery but there was a problem with it or something and it was down for a few days so I came over here. It's been since I believe September or October 2011. When #Ilya was still with us. Im still thrilled to see so many of my first contacts still posting here. I was watching the Social Dilemma. Nothing I didn't know but I liked the way it was presented in sinister form because many people don't do well with subtlety and I think it did a good job at pointing out WHY it is so important to break free from those networks. I wont ever leave FB fully because my daughter's memorialized account is there and i really enjoy those snippets of conversation etc. So many alternatives have come and gone, the #fediverse is still here and that's pretty awesome <3 And for all of those peeps who are still finding their way and are #newhere Welcome!
