There aren't many beaches in Taiwan, despite it being one big island. Much is covered with rocks or has been fortified with anti-landing obstacles (thanks to an unfriendly neighbour) and there are only two beaches with yellow sand in the south. However, we do have a stretch of beach right next to our harbour, which is quite popular in summer. (or all year for sunsets)
