Settled #weather is caused by the presence of a #HighPressure region of #air which often stays for days at a time (depending on where you live). This means that the air is quite still and so atmospheric #dust and #pollution from cities stagnates and gets pushed down into low-level layers of the #atmosphere. It causes #haze but also deeper #red #sunsets.
