A recent survey by FOLX Health, a platform that connects LGBTQ+ patients to healthcare providers, finds that 92 percent of trans people are anxious about the election, and 66 percent report experiencing “frequent mental distress” in the past month. This figure has doubled since 2021, when only 33 percent of trans adults and 15 percent of cis adults reported frequent mental distress.
