WhatsApp für iOS 16: Aktuelle Beta erlaubt Textformatierung wieder

Textformatierung im Messenger -- ein Thema, das mich persönlich nie
interessiert hat, da ich entsprechende Dienste rein zum Versenden von
Text- und Sprachnachrichten verwende und bislang noch nie einen Grund
dafür hatte, Inhalte davon in kursiv, fett oder auch
durchgestrichen darstellen zu müssen. Doch auch WhatsApp bietet so
ein Feature, Nutzer von iOS 16 mussten seit dem Systemupdate allerdings
auf den entsprechenden Menüeintrag beim Markieren von Textinhalten
verzichten. Grund hierfür sind Systembeschränkungen von iOS 16, denen
man aber in der neuen TestFlight-Beta von
WhatsApp
anscheinend Herr werden konnte. Dort ist eben jener Format-Eintrag nun
wieder verfügbar und kann dann hoffentlich bald auch an alle
iOS-16-Nutzer verteilt werden.
