Closing in on 10pm again. Letting go of all that filled the days. Trying to file what was good, trying to empty the mind of what was hard to bear. Listening to the city again resisting the temptation of comparing lifes here and out in the hills. Lighting a first candle in what seems early autumn. Watching neighbours do the same. Showering in cold water, letting windows catch the wet air of night. Monday just behind the horizon, hopefully still a few dreams away.
