Back in 2014 I encountered an old Soviet Russian online and for the most part we were discussing forum board software, Simple Machines Forums in particular, and then he asked me questions about Russian law pertaining to how a Ukrainian becomes Russian citizen. This was 'round about the time Crimea became an international interest and I couldn't imagine why he'd be asking me of all people about such a thing. He nonetheless sent me a couple of documents in Russian and I've just now run across them...and under current circumstances I'm very curious as to what they say.
