So I got ~1500 USD to get myself a computer for my graduation AI project. But not with neural networks, and is going to be computationally intensive. So cloud services are out of the question. I'm thinking about getting a IBM #Power9 8-core 32 thread Rapitor Blackbird or a #AMD #Threadripper (16 core 32 thread) setup

Any suggestions?
