It's difficult for me to avoid the topic - my province (British Columbia) has been declared under the state of emergency from the very recent impact of the unprecented 'atmospheric river' - catastrophic flooding, mudslides, sinkholes, railway lines & many major highways severely damaged... There's plenty of news coverage online if you'd like to see how bad it is. Fuel and food is starting to be rationed... We're back to only essential travel - this time not because of covid. In contrast what's been uplifting is the incredible immediate and enormous assistance of ALL kinds of help from those less affected to those who have been severely affected. Do you have memories of experiencing a natural disaster? If you haven't do you have memories of unexpected acts of human kindness?
