Remembering 9/11
Overshadowed in this year's news gush, by wars, debate, so many things... but having lived it up close & personal, it's even easier to pledge: "Never forget".
Anyone over 20 something, in the US and beyond, saw a changed world on this day, 2001.
Photos are of/with a friend who maintained those iconic antennae on top of the WTC, a fellow photo enthusiast who'd invited me up to the roof which he worked beneath (up a few steps and out the door).
N2SJ was his ('ham') radio call sign, active in that as well as photography. R.I.P.
