From looking up to looking down. I’ve been reading a lot lately and an author who really impresses me is Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb. She publishes a ton (over 225 books) of work and they are of consistent quality. Most interesting is how she’s navigated the near future as J.D. Robb. The first novel (crime genre) was written in 1995 and takes place in 2058. The tech stands up well and there’s no cringy social faux pas so you can enjoy her earlier work if you want to read more.
