I have no love for Aslan, nor what he stands for.

As an anti theist, I hate that he tried to deny the worst of Islam by either falseifying the history or selective picking and choosing of Islamic history and theocratical scripts

For me, he is just another religious charlatan like Shariati was before him, without the honesty and intellect of him. But he has done more good than bad fighting islamophobia and anti Muslim sentiment in US than any other person these days and his work with NIAC (what ever it was), was for the benefit of isolating bigotry and racism.

I can't compare him with Corbyn, because Aslan is not even close to him in either politics or personality, but the character assassination against him by Beocons, Pahlavi supporters, AIPAC funded "activists, Saudi paid "intellectuals" and MKO goons is very similar to the way Corbyn was kicked out of Labour in UK.
