5 dual citizens who sat in Iran prisons were exchanged with 2 Iranian Americans out of a group of 5 who were sitting in US prisons for charges of espionage or breaking US sanctions against Iran.
2 of the 5 decided to stay in US, and the 5th person decided to move to a third country instead of returning to Iran.
A few hours before the exchange, $6,53B of Iranian money that was frozen in south Korea was released into banks in Qatar and transferred thereafter to 2 Iranian banks.
According to #Qatar sources the negotiations between the 2 years with Qatar acting as 3rd party.
