They suck fighting in the battlefield and only can win against those with no heavy weapon, no airforce, no navy or air defense. Will their attack against Lebanon teach them a lesson they never forget?

Of course before it happens, uncle Sam. Step dad macron and sugar daddy Schultz will come to rescue in the name of fighting Iran. Hezbollah' have already kicked their ass twice in the past despite Israel destroying Lebanon in revenge, will this be any different?

But for now, all they can do is to post calls for genocide in yet another country in a sick and sarcastic way.

Interesting sequence of events that came through my newsfeed tonight. #Russia 's Gazprom losing money hand over fist; #Putin pissed at #China for not paying enough for natural gas; comprehensive mutual benefit talks between Russia & #Iran break off; more Russian refineries up in flames; NASA spots a huge fire in Crimea; missiles fired from the Russian side of the #Ukraine border have been less frequent.

Kinda adds up to Putin looking progressively weaker, especially since he hasn't come even close to conquering Ukraine yet and when he goes to other nations for deals, he's looking less like a strong ally and more like a raggedy beggar.

Hezbullah attacked soldiers in Birkat Risha again , using Iran made Almas-4 ATGM, this time their video showing that they ran inside the room where a group of Israeli soldiers were staying. (9 June 2024)

The Israeli army hasn't acknowledge the attacks or any soldiers injured during the attack.

The video says the attack was done with Almas-4. This is the first time something like this is mentioned.

Iran has only reported 1,2,3 variants of the Almas (diamond in Farsi) ATGM s. These previously reported Almas devices are as described bellow:

  • Almas 1: Up to 4 km.
  • Almas 2: Up to 8 km. [Photo]
  • Almas 3: Up to 16 km.

It will be interesting to see what Almas 4 have for operation range. These devices are going to be a nightmare for Israel if they actually dare to enter southern Lebanon.

Linke Solidarität sorgt gerade für viele Konflikte. Ganz besonders im Zusammenhang mit dem Nahostkonflikt. Warum ist das so? Gemeinsam mit unseren Podiumsgästen wollen wir uns anschauen, was feministische, linke Perspektiven auf die Region sein können - und einen kritischen Blick auf Solidaritätsbewegungen hierzulande werfen.

Eins schon vorweg: Patentrezepte wird es nicht geben. Unsere Gäste werden uns aber wissenschaftlich und aktivistisch informierte Perspektiven auf die Region und die relevanten Akteure geben, mit denen wir die Komplexität der Situation besser verstehen können.

Dastan Jasim ist Associate Fellow am German Institute for Global and Area Studies und hat an der Universität Erlangen Nürnberg zur politischen Kultur von Kurden im Iran, Irak, Syrien und dem Irak promoviert. Sie arbeitet über die Entwicklungen in Kurdistan hinaus zu verschiedenen Themen in der Region wie Islamismus und Antisemitismus.

Tom Khaled Würdemann ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Hochschule für jüdische Studien Heidelberg. Er schreibt seine Doktorarbeit über Intellektuelle der palästinensischen Nationalbewegung. Er ist seit sechs Jahren auch pädagogisch gegen Rassismus, Antisemitismus und Extremismus tätig.

Bijan Razavi arbeitet als Bildungsreferent zum Thema Antisemitismus bei der Bildungsstätte Anne Frank in Frankfurt. Seit über 10 Jahren ist er freiberuflich in der politischen Bilung zu Antisemitismus, Rassismus und #Rechtsextremismus aktiv und beschäftigt sich mit dem Einfluss des Netzwerkes der Islamischen Republik Iran in Deutschland und deren Einfluss auf Geflüchtete und Exil-Iraner*innen.

Insights into the strategic disclosure of this missile:

💥 The "Palestine" ballistic missile is actually the Iranian "Kheybar Shekan 2". For the first time, this missile was fired in real combat by Yemen.

The original "Kheybar Shekan 1" #missile has a range of 1450 km and was used during Iran's "True Promise" operation against Israel.

Following Israel's killing of an #IRGCQF officer in Syria two days ago, Iran has cleared the "Kheybar Shekan 2" for use in Yemen.

Compared to the KS-1:
➡️ The KS-2 is a skip glider, a technology that increases the range by about 200 km, reaching the distance required to hit targets in Israel.

IRAN. Exécution d’au moins 67 prisonniers, dont 25 Kurdes, en mai 2024

IRAN. En mai 2024, la République islamique d’Iran a exécuté au moins 67 prisonniers, soit une baisse de 13 % par rapport aux 77 exécutions d’avril.

L’ONG Hengaw a confirmé l’identité de 66 de ces prisonniers. Parmi les personnes exécutées figuraient 25 (37%) prisonniers kurdes, 15 prisonniers turcs, 5 prisonniers baloutches et 3 ressortissants afghans.

Parmi les exécutions notables figuraient deux prisonniers religieux kurdes, Khesraw Besharat et Anwar Khezri, et un jeune délinquant kurde, Ramin Saadat (condamné pour un délit commis à l’âge de 17 ans).

#Iran: The #assassination attempt against Afshin Ghasemi, an active human rights lawyer in #Tehran

Sina Yousefi, a lawyer, announced the assassination attempt of a lawyer by publishing pictures on social media and wrote:

Afshin Ghasemi, who is a prominent human rights lawyer and a member of the Central Bar Association, was attacked today at around five in the evening by armed and unknown people.

He had previously been threatened by unknown agents related to the case party for taking charge of a case in which there were accusations of #rape against women.

It is said that the assailants were three people armed with firearms and cold weapons, who rode in a "Persia" car (without license plate) in an almost busy area and assaulted this lawyer.

At the same time as the international day of lawyers at risk (2024) is dedicated to Iranian lawyers, the government of Iran does not take any security and legal measures to prevent the murder and assassination of lawyers, but puts their lives under threat with propaganda measures against lawyers.

سوقصد به جان افشین قاسمی، وکیل دادگستری

سینا یوسفی، وکیل دادگستری با انتشار تصاویری در شبکه اجتماعی از سوءقصد به جان یک وکیل خبر داد و نوشت:

افشین قاسمی وکیل دادگستری و عضو کانون وکلای مرکز امروز در حدود ساعت پنج عصر مورد سوقصد افراد مسلح و ناشناس قرار گرفت.

ایشان قبلاً بخاطر بر عهده گرفتن پرونده‌ای که در آن اتهامات #تجاوز به زنان وجود داشت، مورد تهدید از سوی عوامل ناشناس و مرتبط با طرف پرونده قرار گرفته بود.

گفته می‌شود ضاربین سه نفر فرد مسلح به سلاح گرم و سرد بودند که سوار بر خودروی پرشیا (بدون پلاک) در یک منطقه تقریبا پر رفت و آمد اقدام به ضرب و جرح این وکیل دادگستری نموده‌اند.

همزمان با اختصاص روز جهانی وکلای در معرض خطر (۲۰۲۴) به وکلای ایران، حکومت ایران هیچ اقدام تامینی و قانونی در راستای جلوگیری از قتل و سوقصد به وکلا انجام نمی‌دهد بلکه با اقدامات تبلیغی علیه وکلا، جان آنها را در معرض تهدید قرار می‌دهد.

Amir Reisian, the lawyer of #Tomaj_Salehi, announced that this artist and political prisoner had regained access to his phone card and made phone calls from inside the prison.

This lawyer wrote on his "X" page: "Mr. Tomaj Salehi's phone card has been activated since yesterday and the phone call problem has been solved. He said in his call with me today that promises were made to meet to solve the problem."

• Mr. Reisian had previously said that one day after the death sentence was announced, Tomaj Salehi's calls were cut off and his visit was also cut off, "due to the fact that he was subject to filming."

•این وکیل دادگستری در صفحه "ایکس" خود نوشت: "کارت تلفن آقای توماج صالحی از دیروز برقرار و مشکل تماس تلفنی حل شده  است. امروز هم در تماسی که با من داشت گفت که وعده‌هایی برای حل مشکل ملاقات داده شده است."

•آقای رئیسیان پیشتر گفته بود که یک روز پس از ابلاغ حکم اعدام، تماس‌های توماج صالحی قطع و ملاقات‌ او نیز، "به علت این‌که مشروط به فیلم‌برداری شد،" قطع شده است.
