Scott Ritter describes the assault on Kibbutzes surrounding Gaza

Does that sound like a massacre of civilians or does that sound like an assault on a military position? I'm not condoning killing civilians but what I'm trying to tell you is these Kibbutzes are not your typical town and village, these Kibbutzes are militarized installations designed to be part of a fortified belt that has put this open air concentration camp [Gaza] behind the walls. And I think people should start waking up to the fact that the narrative is a little bit different than the way the Western media and the Israeli press [inaudible].

40 beheaded children didn't happen, didn't happen. Are there dead children? Tragically yes. Probably because when Hamas assaulted through and caught them sleeping, people went in the rooms, shut the doors. Now Hamas has to assume that the people behind the doors are getting their helmets on, their flak jackets, and their [weapons], so you spray it down open it up throw in a grenade, boom. Typical assault procedure which they use by the way on the Israeli military encampments and they killed them. When they opened the door I'm sure they felt bad about it, just like the Americans did in the Battle of [inaudible]. America, you might want to check up on what happened when we started going into Germany and started fighting our way through the villages and towns and the cities that had German civilians, and as the German civilians took cover in their homes as we went down the hallway kick the door open throw in a grenade, kill them spray it down and we just wiped out a family of 12. It happens in war people. I'm not defending Hamas, I'm not saying "go Hamas", I'm saying that be careful about buying into a narrative before you get all the facts assembled.
