Welcome to #checkin for Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10, 2022!

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone and welcome to today's #checkin. Unfortunately I did not manage to do a #checkin yesterday as I was traveling by train and only on my mobile. So I decided to make a combined checkin,
I was on the PLWM, the Fantasy Christmas market with lights in Dortmund. Medieval/Fantasy themed Christmas market and already the whole week bands were playing there as well.
Open Air concert in December at freezing temps, that was something new, but worth it! Well done. It was really cool, they managed to get the Finnish folk metal Band Korpiklaani and the medieval German folk metal band In Extremo and another smaller folk punk band.
The Finnish people played with bare arms, I guess it must have felt like "summer" for them :)

Any Christmas markets or special seasonal events near you? Even if you don't observe Christmas, maybe also something festive for other holidays/special days or a ritual? A friend told me he will fast again starting next week, seems like some religious tradition as well.
