The Nazis invaded Norway. I was 9. The darkness was all encompassing. We lived through many years as an occupied country.But nobody doubted that the Nazi-occupatuon would end. Despite hardship & suffering. My point? IT DID! Some lessons
1: Make it end in such a way, that the ending does not sow the seeds of its continuation.
2: The way to do this is via LOGOS via #conflicttransformation Not via dehumanization & bombs.
3: Solve the issues that STARTED the war to start with. Table the origin and solve that.
P.S: There is always an ending to things.When you are in a tough situation, make plans for how (a) not to stay there (b) to get out (c ) stay out.The democratic way out of wars is via deliberations & dialogues.The reactionary & trauma-inducing way is via militarism.Chose wisely.
