A quick close-up analysis dismantles the #Israeli narrative of a #Palestinian attacking & attempting to steal an Israeli soldier's weapon:
Ammar Mufleh, 22, was fully unarmed & trying to make a run for his life from a soldier's chokehold before he was executed in cold blood!🧵
Four enhanced screenshots from the footage show Ammar, whose face was fully covered in blood, being fully unarmed in the entire encounter with the #Israeli soldier, who had both an automatic rifle & pistol
When Ammar gets a full hold of the IDF soldier's rifle, he immediately throws it on the ground instead of using it against the soldier. (Frames 00:22-00:24 in the footage).
That's when the Israeli soldiers shoots Ammar four times in the chest & abdomen.
The last shot the Israeli soldier fired at Ammar was while he was lying down on the ground motionless, to make sure he wouldn't make it.
This is a typical extrajudicial execution case!
Israel's police commissioner praised the soldier's conduct!
Ammar was still alive after the IDF soldier shot him 4 times. But Israeli troops prevented any Palestinians from providing him with any form of aid or assistance.
They deliberately held him until he bled to death, doubling down on the intent to kill!
IDF soldiers quickly surrounded the area & after making sure Ammar was dead, they kidnapped his body to join dozens of other Palestinian corpses that Israel holds indefinitely as a bargaining chip.
Whole incident unfolded in a Palestinian town Huwara.
Ammar's mom says he asked before leaving if she wanted him to buy something for her on his way back (a weird thing to do if he was seeking martyrdom as the Israeli narrative claims).
She adds "he was the light of my eyes... I can't live without him!"
It's become standard practice for Israeli soldiers to:
1- Fatally shoot Palestinians, even if they pose no danger, allegeding a stabbing/car-ramming attack.
2- Leave them bleeding to death.
3- Deny paramedics access to them.
4- Steal their bodies.
5- Label them Terrorists.
In sum, Ammar was violently detained by an Israeli soldier in the heart of Nablus's Huwara.
He posed no evident danger to the soldier's life when he shot him.
The soldier continued to shoot even after Ammar was neutralized.
IDF troops made sure Ammar bleeds to death!
this footage shows Ammar in an earlier incident, before the 4 fatal shots, where he was beaten by the soldier & a settler shot towards him.
The footage in No. 4 in the thread is the one showing Ammar still bleeding after the 4 shots.
Even if we trust Israel's narrative that Ammar attempted to stab the Magav officer & steal his weapon, the officer had NO right to:
1- Shoot Ammar again after he was neutralized on the ground
2- Deny him medical aid & leave him bleeding to death
3- Kidnap his body for bargain
Ps. the 2 men in the beginning of the footage can be heard telling the Magav soldier "Enough, leave him! Go away."
They were NOT attempting to steal the soldiers' weapon (per some Israeli accounts), rather they were trying to release Ammar from the soldier's chokehold.
Eyewitness says a settler driving a car into the Palestinian town of Huwara provoked Ammar, who in turn tried to open the car's locked door
Settler rolled down the window, shot Ammar
An #Israeli officer rushed to detain Ammar, not the settler. When he resisted, he shot him!
