Hey, hey, hey, HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE! Don't know why but this year, I've especially looked forward to this day - the day with the shortest period of daylight and longest night of the year for the northern hemisphere because our pole has tilted as far as it can in its orbit from the Sun. But of course, the opposite is happening in the southern hemisphere. Tomorrow the days here start getting longer again! So, do you observe/celebrate the Winter Solstice? (Summer Solstice for you southerners!) How? Or, feel free to share what you know of interesting ways this day is celebrated.
