Sweden allows Ukraine to attack targets in Russia with Swedish weapons
Unlike Ukraine's other European allies, including Germany, Sweden approves of Ukraine's use of Swedish weapons against targets in Russia. This is what Defense Minister Pal Jonson says in the Swedish newspaper "Hallandsposten". The newspaper quotes a written response from the Defense Minister: "Ukraine is exposed to a groundless and illegal war of aggression by Russia. Under international law, Ukraine has the right to defend itself through hostilities directed at the enemy's territory, as long as the hostilities are in accordance with the laws of war. "Sweden stands behind international law and Ukraine's right to defend itself."
