The United States has vetoed a #UN #resolution sponsored by #Brazil that would have condemned #Hamas attacks against #Israel and violence against civilians.
This resolution also called for providing humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in #Gaza. The vote had twelve votes in favor, two abstentions and the United States against.
The US ambassador to the United Nations said that Joe #Biden is already participating in diplomatic activities and that these need to be developed and criticized the resolution for saying nothing about "Israel's right to self-defense."
