Leiser geworden ist die Herztrommel
und hörbarer die Oktoberstiller.
Sag mir ein Laubwort, kein trügerisch grünes,
mach mir die Vielfalt des Brauntons vertraut
und zähl mir diese sanften Schneebeeren zu
für ein letztes Geschmeid.
