If you are robbed, mugged or your house broken into, unlike what cop shows will tell you, if you are low or middle class the cops will write up your paperwork, shrug and look at you like "what do you expect us to do?". They essentially treat it as an act of god, purely for insurance purposes. If you are rich and get a lot stolen from you however they will hunt the bastards down to the ends of the earth. Most cops only need guns for 4% of what they do. Increase training for the ones that do for that 4% and disarm the rest. No one shoots the meter maid or the insurance adjuster. #Defundthepolice
