I just realized that Vox's Future Perfect wrapped itself in the "Effective Altruism" EA language when they launched six years ago and continues to do so. Now that EA has proven to be just narcissistic billionaire's favorite retconning apologetics tool for whatever new sociopathic behaviors they engage in maybe it'd be better to ditch that language.
