Elections in the Philippines

This is not just important for the Philippines or surrounding countries. Duterte was big at killing his own people, but very small when confronting the PRC. In 2016 for example the arbitration court in The Hague declared that the PRC had illegally forced the Philippines away from Scarborough Shoal and declared it to belong to the Philippines. Duterte just said it was useless to claim the islands.

Now it gets worse, with the Marcos son running for president. And in the video you can see again how important education is, because several of today's children think that martial law was good for the Philippines. "Bongbong" will very likely be like his parents, should he be elected: interested in personal wealth only, but not the least bit in the country or area, which would allow the PRC to further extend their control.

In case you haven't noticed: The PRC is working on building a buffer zone around their "motherland". They probably feel protected in the north and northwest, so now they deal with south and southeast.
