This article popped up on my feed and I thought it was interesting.
The empire is dead and globalisation is grinding to a halt. This is what it is about. Neoliberalism was financial expansion with the global factories being used to lower costs and increase profits but at the cost of home production.
It has all come to an end with little or no production left to offshore and no income to pay the debts, reality has come to visit.
This reality will drop on europe soon as their economies contract and financial games no longer hide the inconvenient truth then things will turn nasty.
The west has played a game of debt believing they had found a new way to live but nothing is for free.
