Gem Club - Their music have been a delightful source of calmness and enjoyment for many years. Seductive and sensual, even a bit haunting soundscape that enthrall the mind. Lovely music for moody moments.

I never knew the band, only their music, so my surprise was huge upon learning that the main vocalist was a male. Having such beautiful and delicate "female" singing voice I always thought it belonged to a woman, but seeing them in a video performing live that impression got corrected. I'm impressed though, being capable of singing like that unique and he made the best use of it through the music he created.

Musikalisch habe ich am heutigen Tage mit nichts Interessantem gerechnet ... und genau dann trudelt eine Mail mit dem Hinweis auf die remasterte Scheibe auf Vinyl von L'Altra hinein. In The Afternoon habe ich noch nicht mal und so muss ich nicht lange überlegen.
