Wir setzen in der Firma das Symantec Messaging #Gateway (früher Brightmail, heute Broadcom) zur ersten Stufe der #Viren- und #SPAM-Erkennung bzw. -Filterung ein. Eigentlich funktioniert das recht gut, aber die Geschäftspolitik von Broadcom ist so eine Sache für sich, sind alleine die Lizenzkosten vom letzten Jahr zu diesem Jahr um über 25% gestiegen - ohne eine Mehrleistung natürlich.
Deswegen sind wir auf der Suche nach nach einem Ersatz. Hat da vielleicht jemand eine Empfehlung für mich?

Ich hatte vor kurzem einen gebrauchten #LILYGO #T-Beam mit defektem #Display gekauft. Da das Gerät auf dem Dachboden als #Gateway läuft, ist ein Display nicht zwingend erforderlich - aber einfacher zu bedienen.
Gestern kam das neue Display per Post; ausgewechselt — läuft 😀
Ich bin immer wieder begeistert, wenn ein Hersteller Ersatzteile anbietet.

Ich bin heute ein wenig herumgeradelt, um einmal zu schauen, wo ich denn mein #Meshtastic #Gateway noch empfangen, und Mitteilungen schreiben kann.
In einem Umkreis von rund 2 Kilometern war das durchaus möglich. Ich finde das beachtlich für die kleinen #LoRa Stummelantennen.
Morgen kommen ein wenig längere #Antennen und dann teste ich noch einmal.
Bitte beachtet das biologisch abbaubare Profigehäuse. (Nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten!) 😆

Innerhalb kurzer Zeit listet es mehr als 30 Knoten, Tendenz steigend.
Somit kann ich, obwohl es hier in #Schwerin bisher nur mein Gateway und meinen mobilen Knoten gibt, Mitteilungen auch in andere Regionen senden 😀
Das zweite #Meshtastic Gerät ist heute angekommen.
Dass es eines mit defektem Display ist, stört mich nicht weiter, dafür war es deutlich günstiger.
Ich habe vom ersten Gerät die Config gesichert, und auf das ohne Display gespielt. Auf dem Dachboden brauche ich für das #Gateway ohnehin keine Anzeige.
Danach bin ich mit dem mobilen Gerät ein wenig mit dem #Fahrrad herumgefahren, es waren nur wenige Kilometer, und die habe die Verbindung getestet.
Selbst mit diesen Miniantennen funktioniert es bisher ohne Probleme 😀
Ich habe mich einmal in das Thema #Meshtastic eingelesen und werde hier in #Schwerin wohl den ersten #Node mit, wenn in der Software verfügbar, #Internet #Gateway einrichten.
Ich finde derartige Projekte sehr schön und unterstützte sie wirklich gerne.
Bei #Freifunk ist das in dieser Region leider nicht so einfach, da hier eine Mitgliedschaft in einem #Verein (!) Voraussetzung ist 🙄
Deshalb ist dies eine, nicht nur im Katastrophenfall, für mich wirklich schöne Alternative 😀

Anuradha also shares Vishaka Nakshatras symbol, the #gateway covered in leafs, since Vishaka and Anuradha are one of the four Nakshatra pairs out of the 27. In some texts Vishaka is also called Radha – as in the original Radha or the first Radha, whereas Anu-Radha means the “other” Radha or “additional” Radha. Both Nakshatras share not all but some qualities and are connected to Radha, Krishna’s consort.
This is a time of devotion, of worship, of offering friendship and love freely without expectation, but also giving this same love to ourselves and recognizing all the hard work we have already done to get to where we are.
It’s a soft Nakshatra which makes it auspicious for the more pleasant things in live. Take a journey, get together with friends, do some yoga or journaling.
The best way to honour this auspicious day is to consider some of the self-care/purification methods I mentioned above and make a commitment to yourself to treat yourself with the love you want to receive from others.
