The university where i studied, Chalmers in Gothenburg (Sweden), has now banned political expressions on the campus. This is to my knowledge a unique event in Swedish history. Hopefully people will resist/ignore these new authoritarian rules and continue to speak up for peace

I happened upon a demonstration for #Palestine in a square in central #Gothenburg today. When i got there there i couldn't hear what the current speaker was saying but she was crying.
Then more speakers came and there were many Palestine flags in the air. I looked in awe at the people standing on the steps to the statue in the center of the square, everyone had Palestine scarves and many were holding or waving the beautiful flags in the air. It looked like something out of a movie.
A speaker then came on who talked about the suffering in #Gaza and after that speech i was emotionally exhausted and left moved and wiping my tears.
