As of today it's been exactly 10 years since The Boxtrolls first appeared in theaters. I'm so very thankful for the amazing people I worked alongside with to bring such a bizarre stop-motion vision to life. "It's more Monty Python than Walt Disney" was one reviewer's take on the finished film and if that's how it's remembered I'm definitely A-okay with that!
