#COVID-19 no longer in the house here yay! We both tested negative this morning. Had we not gotten the new vaccine, tested early, and been given anti-virals it would have been far worse than a week of isolation, rest, and fluids. If you see the doc within a day of symptoms and test positive, you can get the anti-virals. If you wait until day 4 or later, they will not prescribe them. By isolating right away and informing contacts, you help reduce the spread. Sanitize isolate, and #MaskUp peeps!

The January 2024 outbreak in Virginia is trending downward as well. Have no info on the strain(s) seen. MD and DC data is not as current or informing.

Hospitals in California, New York, and Massachusetts have reinstated mask mandates.How long will we wait in Canadian hospitals and healthcare clinics?

Nov 2022, the chief of staff of the children’s hospital in #Ottawa begged people to #MaskUp (not that anti-maskers would let her speak when I brought that to our school board - antisemitic death threats still continue).

#COVID is on the rise. Everyone’s at risk. At the minimum, healthcare should lead.

Going to wear mask in busses and closed places from tomorrow.

The Covid numbers are going up and I really don't want to get sick again.

So, going to wear KN95 mask when I am in public places starting tomorrow.

Was wearing them some days before, but now I will do it all the time.
