Racist riots broke out in Iranian city of Meybod in Yazd province
The media and social networks have been pushing for demonizing afghan refugees in Iran and blaming them for the failure of IRI and corrupoin the country making life unbearable for most Iranians.
Even groups inside IRI regime are trying to use the Afghans as a tool to hide their criminal past and they have been pushing for deportation of ALL Afghans living in Iran. Many who lived in the country all their lives or have an Iranian father or mother.
Last week a young Iranian was killed allegedly by an afghan citizen which led to anger and waves of criminal attacks against afghan population of the city that people blame for hars economical conditions in the city.
Discrimination and racist attacks reached a new level after the death of Amir-Reza Aghaei that led to widespread riots and attacks against Afghans in their homes and on various parts of town
Police and IRGC riot police have been sent to try to calm the public down and using the event as a chance to capture and finally deport any refugees who fell victim of those attacks and blaming them for the riots.
