Iran has unveiled a (micro)jet-powered variant of the Shahed-136 (Geran-2)
This version of the drone uses a mini jet engine instead of a propellor, to achieve higher speeds. This makes it harder for the Shahed to be intercepted and shot down.
Some have called it a 'stealth' version of the Shahed-136, due to it no longer having the iconic buzzing sound which made it easy to identify.
It is still unknown where they bought the mini jet engines or if those are prodocied domestically.
