Finally got Mellie the long bath she needed.

I have been giving her quick shower to keep her clean, but I finally got her into the bathtub and gave he a full scrubby bath. She pretends she doesn't like it, but after the bath she was so happy and playful and of course hungry.

She finished a whole bowl of her food with added sausage and tomatoes and a spoon of my tomato sauce to trick her so she is satisfied with eating the same food as I am.

With belly full and tired from shower, she is back in her bed sleeping on her clean sheets.

This now part of our daily morning routine. We have a walk, she runs around in the park, then lies on the ground and sometimes roll around in dirt.

OMG she really likes this food. Much more than the other type. Second full bowl she completely cleaned up

She really likes it with a little tomatoes and sausages. She is asking for more.

I hope it stays that way for the rest of the 16kg of it.

Food for Mellie has arrived. Never thought I would buy a big package of dog food like this, but the price per kilo is less than 1/3rd compared to buying 1.5kg packs.

Just need to find a place to store it safely (kept the old package so I can reuse it while storing this in a large container.

Went for a very long walk arouythe town and stopped by to have a sandwich and of course, she wanted some too!

She was so tired that she jumped into her bed right after I wiped her feet off (I do it after every long walk).

I had to break my "no shopping month promise and bought the biggest dog food bag available.

Mellie is so freaking picky eater, but she likes this food and sadly it's one of the most expensive ones.

It's worth it because I was throwing away most of the food anyway. But with these, she cleans up the bowl all the time. All I need is to add a small amount of human food from my plate and she eats the whole thing.

She is healthy and happy and this will last a couple of months.

Somebody had a haircut.

The trimmer worked perfectly but she was really hard to hold her standing still and I couldn't get her paws and one of her ears trimmed. But she looks so much lighter and thinner.

And of course with the heatwave, the short hair make it easier to keep her cool.

Bought a "professional" hair trimmer to cut Mellie's fur and she doesn't like it at all.

It's pretty quiet but still she was not happy to sit down and let me cut her over grown fur on her paws and trim the rest of her body.

Going to try to do it with my wife together this weekend and see if we manage to do it together.

Mellie have taken ownership of that side of the couch.

She wasn't happy that I put a cover on, but accepted it with giving me a dirt look.

Now she is snoring and farting like crazy. Don't know what she picked up at park but she keep going back to the same place hoping to find more and this morning I saw her chewing on something and eating it before I could react.

I bought some bread and a croissant the other day when we were walking, now she stops at the front of the bakery whenever we pass it. She really really really loves #croissant.

Melli made friends with 2 kids from Ukraine at the park next door, their mother told me they will be here all of July, but we haven't seen them for over 10 days.

But Mellie still sits like this looking at the kids playground area waiting for them..

I honestly never seen her being attached to a strangers child before, but she really miss that little girl. I have no idea why,It's so sweet.
