"Another little PS2 tool has been added to my repository: pfsshell. It allows some basic shell-like behavior on PS2 HDDs and works perfect with Open PS2 Loader’s NBD server - just like HDL Dump does. And just like HDL Dump’s new package the manpage is a bit rough and the git repo also lacks proper readme and license files, but it’s up and running. AMD64 packages can be found at the releases page, AMD64 and I386 packages can be installed from my private Debian repository."

Weiß eigentlich jemand, wo der ursprüngliche Quelltext für den alten #esrpatch für die #ps2 zu finden ist? Ich konnte bislang nur andere Projekte finden, welche den Quelltext zu verwenden scheinen, aber bloß weil da steht, dass der Patcher unverändert übernommen wurde, muss das ja nicht stimmen.

Having #JIT privilege means that fully compromising the emulator, including the #compiler co-process, would grant the ability to run fully arbitrary native code (not just ROP) on the PS4/PS5 without the need for a kernel exploit. This would be especially convenient on the PS5 because the newly introduced hypervisor enforces that code pages (both userland and kernel) are not readable, and I don't have the patience to try to write a blind kernel #exploit again as I did when I ported BadIRET to the PS4 without a #kernel dump.
