New open source COVID19 vaccine

Speaking to the Washington Post, Peter Hotez said: “We’re not trying to make money. We just want to see people get vaccinated.”
The scientists note that the vaccine was developed with no major government funding, instead relying almost exclusively on private philanthropy, posing the question: “Is it possible that, had we even had a fraction of the support afforded to the biotech or multinational companies producing new technology vaccines, the world might have been vaccinated by now? Possibly, we could have prevented the emergence of Omicron.”

(*) Right now, the World Trade Organization is considering a proposal that would help end the pandemic. This would temporarily waive patent protections on vaccine recipes.

(*) But the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland,Norway, and Singapore are blocking it, endangering millions of lives around the world.

(*) This is a clear violation of our right to health — of nurses, caregivers, and patients. So we are now taking them to court.

(*) We demand an urgent investigation into the obstruction of the waiver by these Covid-19 criminals.
