The only animal born in captivity and one of the 20 remaining Iranian #Cheetah died last night because of kidney failure.
It is a sad day for me, I was really hoping to see him grow into a healthy animal and watch him released in the national park.
But his life ended after days of struggle.

The extremely endangered species are under strong protection of the Iranian wildlife organization and their daily lives being followed by millions of people inside and outside of the county.
Pirooz's healt has been a problem in the last few weeks and it tuned into the worse yesterday. He was taken into the special medical facility to find out what is wrong with him and trying to help him get better.
The report warns that his chances of survival is not that great.

🔸سازمان محیط زیست: به دنبال یبوست مزمن و مشکلات گوارشی توله یوز نر پارک پردیسان (پیروز) با مشورتی که با کارشناسان داخلی و خارجی صورت گرفته شد این توله یوز در شامگاه جمعه 5 اسفند ماه به بیمارستان دامپزشکی مرکزی، انتقال داده شد.
🔸با توجه به رادیولوژی، سونوگرافی و آزمایشاتی که انجام شد بحث انسداد روده ها که قبلا مطرح شده بود منتفی شد اما مشکل دفع در سیستم گوارش وجود دارد.
پارامترهای خونی و دفع جانور نیز طی آزمایشات لازم بررسی شد و اشکالاتی در کلّیه و پارامترهای خونی مشاهده شد که موضوع توسط تیم دامپزشکی بررسی و اقدامات لازم در حال انجام است.
