The United States are developing a high-precision aerial munition specifically for Ukraine – reports Aviation Week.

According to the publication, the ERAM glide bomb will have a range of over 463 km and a flight speed of at least 720 km/h.

It is stated that the bomb will have an accuracy within a radius of up to 10 meters and will be resistant to electromagnetic interference.

The development of ERAM by the U.S. Air Force is one of the many Pentagon efforts to develop new, inexpensive air-launched munitions. Earlier this year, the Navy also revealed requirements for an affordable, 75-pound relatively inexpensive munition that is small enough for the F-35C to carry four (This must be a mistake /Farhad) of them in its weapons bay.
