Reparatur eines obsoleten GerÀtes...
Warum? Weil ich es kann! Und weil ich ein sentimentaler alter Sack bin. Das Teil habe ich vor ca. 30 Jahren fĂŒr 400⏠gekauft, um Fernsehantennen einzustellen. Das Thema hat sich nun weitestgehend erledigt. Es gibt kein Analogsignal mehr im Ăther. Und selbst das analoge FBAS-Signal ist weitgehend auf dem RĂŒckzug. So habe ich einen knapp 10 Jahre alten Raspberry PI1 an einen TV-Modulator angeschlossen, das Casio Teil mit Batterien versorgt um festzustellen: Kapott!
Also aufgemacht, die offensichtlich ausgelaufenen Elkos ausgetauscht. Lief immer noch nicht. Es hatte zusÀtzlich noch den Ein-Aus-Schalter mit der Umschaltung VHF / UHF erlegt. Völlig korrodiert. Also diesen Schalter auseinandergeprokelt, gereinigt und wieder zusammengebaut. Nun lÀuft das Teil wieder. Und was mache ich nun damit? Mich dran erfreuen und es wieder in eine Kiste packen.

IRC as a real-time Internet chat network was always designed to be ultra light weight with the most minimum requirements on the client as well as server sides, which makes it ideal for small devices or where bandwidth is very constricted as there are no graphics, adverts, or algorithms. So yes it even runs on a calculator!
Of course, this also says something about Casio's extendibility, as the trend today is so often to just lock everything down.
